1. Police Outpost Withdraws from Kam Ma Factory After Four Days of Drone Attacks

Due to continuous drone attacks for four consecutive days, the police outpost at the Kam Ma Factory in Pakokku District, Magway Region, was forced to withdraw. The Kam Ma Resistance Alliance announced that the junta forces stationed at the outpost were demoralized and withdrew after sustained bombing and pressure. The attacks began on August 31, and the police withdrew in the early morning of September 4. The drones used in the attacks came from the Kam Ma Alliance Drone Unit, the Pakokku and Pauk PDF Drone Teams, the Magway Region Drone Team, and other allied resistance groups. The Kam Ma Alliance also stated that they would continue their joint operations against military targets in Pakokku District alongside allied resistance forces

2. Police Outpost Withdraws from Kam Ma Factory After Four Days of Drone Attacks

 On 4th September

A junta column of around 100 soldiers, including forces from LIB-57, IB-349, IB-350, and IB-584, invaded Saw Htee Township. On September 2, they arrested 10 civilians working at Nwan Aing Gold Mine and five rubber plantation workers in Kyauk Tan Gwin, using them as human shields to carry heavy weaponry. The KNLA-Central reported that the soldiers marched the civilians to Min Lan Than Saik outpost before releasing them around 7:52 PM. Additionally, two civilians from Kyauk Tan Village, aged 16 and 30, were shot and wounded by the junta forces. In Kyun Doe Township, three 122mm artillery shells were fired from the junta’s Tan Ta Kyo camp, injuring an 11-year-old boy named Saw Pyay Phyo Aung and damaging the front of a house belonging to Daw Tin.

  

3. Two Pyu Saw Htee Members Killed in Attack While Extorting Money on Min Gyan Road

In Mandalay Region’s Min Gyan Township, two members of the Pyu Saw Htee militia were killed while extorting money from vehicles on the Let Sit Village road. Freedom Fighter Guerrilla Force (FFGF) reported that the attack, which took place on September 4, resulted in the seizure of several weapons, including a Parabellum pistol, 12 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, and 38 rounds of carbine ammunition. The operation was a joint effort between FFGF, the Anyar Federal Task Force (AFTF), the 8 Stars (MGN), and the Burmese Independence Army (BIA).

4. Chinese-Made Surveillance Drone Seized in Ayadaw

September 3:

On September 4, a Chinese-made surveillance drone used by the military junta was seized in Ayadaw Township, Sagaing Region. The drone, manufactured by the Chinese company AheadX, was intercepted while flying for reconnaissance purposes. AheadX, founded in 2014, is a subsidiary of the Beijing-based technology company iFLYUAS.

  

5. Soldiers and Police Officers Defect with Weapons in Tant Se Township and Hakha

A sergeant from a military outpost in Tant Se Township defected, taking an MA-1 rifle and 26 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition. Tant Se PDF confirmed that the sergeant was awarded 500,000 MMK (around $250 USD) for his defection. The PDF also emphasized that they welcome defectors from the junta forces.

Similarly, a police officer from Hakha, Chin State, defected on September 2, joining the revolution with his weapon. The Chin Defense Force (CDF-Hakha) reported that they welcomed the police officer, provided a monetary reward, and ensured his safe relocation.

1. Armored Vehicles Seized from Junta Forces Used in the Battle of Taung Kham

On 5th September

In Taung Kham village, Naung Cho Township, northern Shan State, a battle was launched to capture the artillery units of the junta. Seized armored vehicles were used in the attack, according to the TNLA (Ta’ang National Liberation Army) on September 4. The operation was part of the second phase of the “1027 offensive” in the Taung Kham area, where the TNLA used the junta’s seized armored vehicles to engage in the battle. This was led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief Major General Tarmavo and Major General Tarmarshan, attacking artillery units 206, 354, 406, and 902 of the junta. The video footage released by TNLA showed dead junta soldiers during the fighting. Captured weapons were also showcased. TNLA captured artillery units 406 and 206 by the end of August, and continues to fight to seize units 354 and 902.
Despite warnings from China to halt the conflict on August 29 and a meeting with a Chinese special envoy on August 30, TNLA has continued its offensive against the junta.

2. Intense Fighting on the Moe Maok-Bhamo Road and in Hpakant

The Kachin Independence Army (KIA) reported fierce battles in Moe Maok and Hpakant regions. On September 4, intense fighting occurred at 6 miles of the Moe Maok-Bhamo road. However, no details on casualties were provided. The junta forces bombarded the battle area from Bhamo town, forcing locals to flee to safer places. After KIA and allied forces captured battalion 437 in Moe Maok on August 19, junta forces have been launching counteroffensives.

3. Attack on Administrative Office in North Dagon Township

On 5th September

The administrative office in Ward 45, North Dagon, Yangon, was attacked with two remote-controlled bombs on September 4 at 7:45 PM, according to Rangoon Urban Column. The explosion injured two Pyu Saw Htee members and damaged part of the office’s wall. The attack targeted Pyu Saw Htee groups, which are recruiting people under the military conscription law.

4. Four Airstrikes and Strafing by Junta Forces in Karenni Region

On 5th September

On the morning of September 5, the junta air force conducted four bombing runs and strafed the Karenni region. Between 9:00 and 9:30 AM, bombs were dropped in the vicinity of Nam Me Khon town, resulting in civilian casualties.

5. Village Burned in Khin-U Township by Junta and Pyu Saw Htee Forces

On September 5, junta and Pyu Saw Htee forces burned down the village of Si So Le in Khin-U Township, marking the 8th village torched in the area. Local defense forces have warned residents to take caution.

6. Fire in Se Lan Village Causes Damage Estimated at 100 Million Kyats

On 5th September

A fire broke out in Se Lan village, Muse Township, northern Shan State, on September 1, causing damage estimated at 100 million kyats. TNLA fire brigades led the firefighting effort, which lasted about an hour, affecting two houses, five cars, and three motorcycles.

7. 35 Junta Soldiers Killed in August Battles in KNU Brigade 5 Area

According to a September 5 report from the Karen National Union (KNU), 35 junta soldiers were killed in battles in KNU Brigade 5 territory in August. The battles, numbering 115, occurred between August 1 and 31, with no casualties reported among the resistance forces.
