On September 3rd, during the 25th meeting of the National Unity Government (NUG), Acting President Duwa Lashi La emphasized the importance of dismantling all reckless and unjust actions perpetrated by the military council. He mentioned, “Min Aung Hlaing and his military group are trying to expand the people’s militia forces, which is a clear indication that they are risking people’s lives to maintain their power. Every dictatorship is willing to do anything to sustain its power. Therefore, it is crucial for the NUG to eliminate these reckless and unjust actions by the military council. Our government will respond effectively and decisively to such actions.” He also urged soldiers and their families who are still supporting the military council to join the people as soon as possible.
