2. MNDAA announced that it has captured the military headquarters of the Northeast Region

In Mokot, the units under the Military Council’s Central Military Command-Lapakha, including Khlara-78, 88, and Khlara-148, established an offensive camp. During the battle, the military council launched 21 attacks with jet fighters and 9 attacks with Y12 aircraft. The TNLA reported that they responded with 78 rounds of heavy weapon fire and 18 cluster rockets.

The fighting led to significant casualties and damage: 14 civilians were killed, including 8 adults and 9 children, 59 people were injured, 4 monasteries were destroyed by aerial bombardment, and 29 houses were burned down. Additionally, a large amount of ammunition and military equipment was captured, including 73 different weapons, 120 mm and 60 mm mortars, 81 mm grenades, RPGs, rockets, and landmines.

As a result of Operation 1027 Part 2, the Taang Army PSLF/TNLA-led coalition has gained complete control of Mokot, marking it as the second city to fall under their control.
