1. The graduation ceremony of Basic Military Training Batch-2 of Danu State National Defence Front/Danu State National Defense Army (DSNDF/DSNDA) was held
On May 17, the Danu State National Defence Front/Danu State National Defense Army (DSNDF/DSNDA) announced that the Basic Military Training Batch-2 of DSNDF/DSNDA was successfully finished.
At present, after the activation and implementation of the conscription law by the military couincil, more people have joined the Danu State National Defence Front/Danu State National Defense Army (DSNDF/DSNDA). It is reported that the trainees are also systematically screened based on their advantages/interests, and are given relevant responsibilities in addition to combat.
After that, the DSNDF/DSNDA has also invited more people to produce more new comrades who are capable, mentally strong and served the people with compassion and justice.
2. The junta troops marching towards Ingabo Village were attacked by revolutionary forces with allied EROs
Yangon Region PaKaFa Combat Team-1 of reported that the junta troops marching towards Ingabo Village were attacked with high-intensity drop bombs.
After intercepting the junta troops in chaos from the attack, that was leaving, the Moke Pa Lin checkpoint was also attacked with high-intensity drop bombs.
The attack was carried out by Yangon Region People’s Defense Force Combat Team- 1, Team – 2, and the Yangon Regional Drone Force in cooperation with the EROs allies.
3. Cikha Town in Tonzang Township was captured by Chin revolutionary joint forces
Local and military news sources said that Chin revolutionary joint forces attacked and captured Cikha Town in Tonzang Township, Chin State, on May 19. It is said that Chin revolutionary joint forces (CNA/CDFs) under the Ministry of Defence of the Chinland Government have captured the military council camp in Cikha Town in Chin State.
The Chin Journal, a local news outlet, reported that on May 19, CNA and CDFs joint forces set fire to the military council camp in Cikha Town of Tonzang Township and took control of the town. In addition, Chin revolutionary joint forces have been launching offensives to military council camps in Tonzang Town and they were able to capture the police station of Tonzang Town in the morning of May 19, and have penetrated the interior of the military camp.
“At about 6:40 a.m., we have taken over Tonzang police station of the military council, and our troops have been able to enter the interior of the military camp. While we are still talking, there is a situation where we will be able to take over that military camp as well,” said CDF-Hualngoram Commander-in-Chief U Pui Tea informed through the online Fund-Raising program of the CDF-KKG Supporting Team of North America’s held at about 7:00 a.m. on May 19, Chin Journal reported.
Another military news source wrote on May 19 at around 4:30 p.m. on a social media page that the town of Tonzang in Chin State has come under the control of the Chinland Government.
Cikha town is a sub-township of Tonzang Township, Falam District. It is a border town with Tonzang Town and Tedim Town in the south, Khampat Town in the east, and India in the west and north.
The Tonzang Operation was conducted cooperatively by the local revolutionary forces; CDF-Tonzang, CAN, CDF-Thantlang, PDA-Tedim, CDF CDM-Siyin, CDF-Hualngoram, YPDF (Yaw), CDF-Asho Chin, CDF-Hakha, CDF-Zanniatram, CDF-Matupi, as well as member forces of the Chinland Council.
4. The military council troops stationed in Htanmataw Village were attacked, killing 3 soldiers
Myingyan District Battalion 4 released the military news that 3 junta soldiers were killed and at least 3 were injured in the attack on the military council troops stationed in Htanmataw Village in Natogyi Township, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region.
On May 17, at around 2:00 p.m., allied revolutionary forces attacked the 40-strong military council troops stationed in Htanmataw Village, Natogyi Township, with heavy weapons and small arms from the ground and air. During the battle that took place for about an hour, 3 military council soldiers were killed and at least 3 were injured. People’s defense comrades were able to retreat unharmed.
The attack was carried out jointly by Natogyi People Defense Force (Myingyan District Battalion 4), Myingyan District Battalion 1, Myingyan District Battalion 2, Myingyan District Battalion 3, Myingyan District Battalion 8, Myingyan Township PaKaFa, Natogyi Township PaKaFa, Taungtha Township PaKaFa, and Mahlaing Township PaKaFa.
5. The junta convoy of 2 Faw vehicles with about 60 forces that came out from Mindon town to reinforce Pyaung Village were mined, killing and injuring about 30 soldiers
Magway Regional Command Office of No. 1 Military Region released the news that the junta convoy of 2 Faw vehicles with about 60 forces that came out from Mindon town to reinforce Pyaung Village were mined.
On May 14, a 120-strong military council column that passed through the villages of Pyaung, Thafanyaung, and Wetkaw in Mindon Township opened fire with heavy weapons at village monastery and school at Ngakon Village. In addition, the military council fired with jet fighters from the air with 6 times and stationed at Ngakon Village.
The junta convoy of 2 Faw vehicles with about 60 forces to reinforce that junta column coming out of Mindon town to Pyaung Village was mined between Kywebay and Hteinkaing villages, killing and seriously injuring about 20 junta soldiers. It is said that joint revolutionary forces were able to retreat unharmed.
The remaining military council soldiers from that infantry column which passed through Tamar Village to reinforce Pyaung Village with about 40 forces were intercepted between Kywedon and Theepinkone villages, killing about 10 junta soldiers and seriously injuring a lot. Revolutionary comrades were able to retreat without harm.
The attack was carried out cooperatively by Thayet District Battalion 4, Student Armed Force (SAF), and Warriors Of Liberation Force (WOLF).
6. One civilian was killed, one was injured, and a religious building was damaged due to the heavy weapon fire by the terrorist coup military council in Kler Lwee Htu District
The KNU headquarters released the news that the terrorist coup military council deliberately fired heavy weapons into civilian villages and their work places in Hsaw Hti Township, Kler Lwee Htu District, KNU-Karen National Union Kawthoolei Administrative Area, killing one innocent civilian, injuring one, and damaging the roof of the monastery.
On May 16, at 9:45 p.m., the military council infantry battalion 20 deliberately fired 81-MM heavy artillery into Yayphyukan Village, killing the resident 72-year-old U Myat Thein by hitting shrapnel and damaging the roofs of the Yayphyukan Village.
At the same time, the LIB-264 of the terrorist coup military council fired 120-MM heavy artillery and 2 shells fell near the house of Ko Zaw Min Tun in Nyaungpingyi Village and 2 exploded near Kyauktan Village.
Then, at 1:39 p.m., Shwegyin strategic hill of the military council fired a 120-MM heavy weapon and the shell fell into Kyun Tae Su Village, injuring 68-year-old U Win Tin, and the shell also fell and exploded near Kyauktan, Waing Mingalarkon, and Nyaung Ai villages.
Because the terrorist military council has been deliberately firing heavy weapons into the villages in Kler Lwee Htu District, the entire population, including the elderly and children, is living in fear.
