1. The Graduation Ceremony of the Batch-5 Basic Military Training Course of Chinland Defense Force-Daai (CDF-Daai) was held
Chinland Defense Force-Daai (CDF-Daai) announced that the graduation ceremony of the Batch-5 Basic Military Training Course of CDF-Daai was successfully held on May 15. Batch-5 Basic Military Training Course was conducted for 2 months and more than 100 trainees attended and completed the course.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Daai regional administrations, the defense heads of CDF-Daai, and responsible persons from partner organizations.
CDF – Daai has appealed to the public to support more since it will continue to fight for the protection of Chinland, the eradication of military dictatorship, and the building of federal democracy.
2. More than 60 junta soldiers were killed in a 2-day battle in Ywar Shey Village, Myingyan Township
Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) has announced that more than 60 junta soldiers were killed in the 2-day battle in Ywar Shey Village, Myingyan Township. On the morning of May 13, at 10:00 a.m., the junta troops launched offensives at Ywar Shey Village in Myingyan Township with a strength of 200 troops. On the first day of the offensive, the defense of the Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) and its allies led to many casualties of the junta soldiers.
On May 14, at around 6:00 a.m., another offensive was launched by the junta, and the allied revolutionary forces were forced to retreat due to the support of the junta from the Navy Force and aerial drone attacks.
During the two-day resistance attack, more than 60 junta soldiers were killed and around 80 were injured. About 15 comrades were injured (not seriously) from the side of the MBT forces and allies. After the attacks, the junta column burnt down the entire village and killed 4 civilians for no reason.
The two-day resistance battle was waged by the Myingyan Black Tiger MBT (Myingyan District Battalion 9), Myingyan District Battalion 6 Company 1 – Naung Yoe Guerrilla Force, Bright Star Group, Bo 60 Force, Popa Guerilla Force, Royal Eagle People Defence Force, Myingyan Danger Dynamite, Drone Fighter Kani – D. F. K, Anyar Federal Task Force, 27 Revolution Force, BGF and other allies cooperatively.
3. The military council column marching toward Bago Yoma was attacked, resulting in casualties
Thayarwaddy District Battalion 3802 reported that People’s Defense Forces attacked the military council column marching towards Bago Yoma in Letpadan Township, the western part of Bago Division.
On May 13, at around 7:00 a.m., a skirmish took place at the entrance of Yayngan Village with the military council column from Letpadan town marching with a force of more than 100. During the battle, a 40-mm grenade fired by the People’s Defense Forces exploded in the military council’s patrol point, killing 1 junta soldier and injuring 9 others.
The battle lasted for about half an hour, the military council fired back with 40 mm and 60 mm grenades, but the comrades of the People’s Defense Forces were unharmed.
The attack was carried out jointly by the 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the Thayarwaddy District Battalion 3802 Company 2 and 3.
The next day, on May 15, the military council troops were stationed in Yayngan Village. On the evening of May 12, the same military council column fired 40 mm into Htan Pin Chaung Village, injuring a 60-year-old man.
4. 28 Enaga bombs attack at Gway Cho (Pyu) Village in Yesagyo Township
Myaing PaKaFa reported that Gway Cho (Pyu) Village in Yesagyo Township, Pakokku District, was attacked with a total of 28 Enaga bombs, 13 Enaga bombs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 13, and 15 Enaga bombs until 7:00 p.m. on May 14.
During the attack, the assistant of the leader monk of Gway Cho (Pyu) Village, a person named Thaung Naing Lin, surnamed U So Mana was reportedly killed, and at least 14 junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia were injured.
They have announced that they will continue to carry out precise operations with major victories.
5. Letpanhla police station was bombed with drones, injuring two people, including a policeman
According to locals, two people, including a policeman, were injured when PDFs bombed the Letpanhla police station in Singu Township, Mandalay Division, with drones.
On May 14, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., the Lepanhla police station on the Mogok-Mandalay highway was attacked with drop bombs 3 times, and the bombs exploded in the police station compound, including the police officer’s office.
Among the 3 bombs, one exploded in the police officer’s office, one next to the parade ground, and one in the southwest corner of the compound, killing a policeman and a woman inside the police station, according to residents.
It has not been released yet which group carried out the attack. Regarding this incident, the military council’s propaganda telegram channels are spreading propaganda that a policeman’s leg was hit by shrapnel, the roof of the police station was damaged, and a civilian woman was injured.
6. Two innocent young siblings died due to a heavy weapon attack on Zardi Village in Yephyu Township
Dawei Democracy Movement Strike Committee (DDMSC) reported that on May 15, at around 11:00 a.m., the headquarters of Mawrawaddy Naval Station under the military council based in Onbingwin Village in Kanbauk, Yephyu Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Division, attacked Zardi Village with heavy weapons, killing two innocent young siblings.
It is said that the military council troops fired heavy weapons at Zardi Village, which is about seven miles away from the Mawrawaddy naval station headquarters, and the surrounding area four times without any fighting. A shell hit a house in Thit Hla Taw Ward in Zardi Village and killed 16-year-old Maung Zaw Myo Aung and his 11-year-old younger sister, Ma Pwint Pwint.
The military council also bombarded Kanet Thiri Village in Thayetchaung Township, Dawei District, killing two 16-year-old children.
7. Almost the entire hospital was destroyed by the military’s air raid in Kyauktaw, and at least 20 people, including the staff, were injured
Arakan Army-AA announced that the military bombarded Wea Gyi Htaunt Hospital in Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine State, with jet fighters, and almost the entire hospital was destroyed, injuring at least 20 civilians including the staff, patients, and patient attendants, killing some.
It is said that the military bombarded Wea Gyi Htaunt Hospital from the air at 12:16 a.m. in the early morning of May 15. Among the 20 injured, five were seriously injured and one horse was killed, AA stated.
AA has stated that the defeating military council, which felt humiliated and angry because of the defeat of every war in the Rakhine State, is targeting civilian targets, hospitals, markets, etc., based on ethnic hatred, which is not related to the battle, and is committing massacres of innocent people and war crimes blatantly.
In addition, AA stated that the military council has been conducting acts of threatening people’s lives, homes, properties, and social security, and committing killings all over Myanmar every day like a routine act.
AA informed that the military council’s current actions and previous records will be sent to international organizations. On May 14, the military council targeted civilians in Thandwe and Maungdaw towns in Rakhine State, killing 11 civilians and wounding 12 people in one day, according to local news sources.
8. Kyaukhtu-Saw asphalt road will be temporarily closed for 11 days
Gangaw District Battalion 13 notified that the Kyaukhtu-Saw asphalt road will be temporarily closed from 15.05.2024 to 25.05.2024 due to some processes needing to be done.
During the prohibition, it is forbidden to pass through the Saw-Kyaukhtu road section, and if there are any emergency cases, the public is requested to inform the relevant battalion of Gangaw District Battalion 13.
It has been stated that parents will be notified when the prohibition will be released once the process is finished.
