Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, Daw Zin Mar Aung, said that the 1982 Citizenship Law must be redrafted at the 6th anniversary of the Genocide against Rohingya on August 25.
“We must change the era and change the system. Discrimination against other ethnic groups, including the Rohingya ethnic group, and ethnic killings are widespread in our society. It shows how discrimination and hatred are happening. Therefore, if we want to reconnect with the revolution, the 1982 Citizenship Law will definitely have to be redrafted,” the Union Minister said.
In addition, the Union Minister also said that cases of discrimination throughout the ages are considered as a lesson from history.
2. Union Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration said that the Counter-Terrorism Central Committee is working to focus on financial warfare

The Union Minister said this at the opening ceremony of the “Hang historical dates on the walls of houses and spread drone wings in the sky” campaign held on August 25.

Currently, the National Unity Government is proceeding according to the federal charter and is cooperating politically and militarily with the ethnic revolutionary forces.
4. The Deputy Secretary said that the defense forces and allied forces have been able to approach the main roads of the military council and the cities of Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw

Since December 2017, the United States has imposed sanctions and visa restrictions on individuals and entities most responsible for the ongoing violence.
The United States remains committed to advancing justice and accountability for all the people of Burma and will continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Burma in their aspirations for a democratic, inclusive, and peaceful future.”
6. Arming ceremony weapons obtained from “The Fence Project” to the battalions under KNDF Strategy 4
The Fence announced on August 25 that the weapons obtained from “The Fence Project” were handed over to the battalions under KNDF Strategy 4.
