Defence Minister U Yee Mon said in the “A Light for Yangon” campaign that the country’s comrades are already engaged in operations under a single plan.

2. The Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) held a meeting with the township people’s administrative bodies of Tanintharyi, Ayeyarwady and Bago Divisions

On August 20, Shwebo District Battalion 14 announced that 6 bombs were dropped by drones (unmanned aerial vehicles – Fix Wings) on the place where the terrorist military column was stationed in Depayin Town, killing 3 junta soldiers.

“On August 20, at 1:28 p.m., the Laythar Monastery, where the terrorist military was stationed in Depayin, was attacked by the Shwe Bo District Battalion 14 and the Yinmarbin District Battalion 20, by dropping 6 bombs using drones (unmanned aerial vehicles – Fix Wings),” it stated.

It was said that they received accurate information that 3 military council soldiers were killed in the attack and 1 was near death.

8. During the two and a half years of the coup, at least 10,115 armed conflicts took place across the country.

The Institute for Strategy and Policy – Myanmar (ISP – Myanmar) has reported that at least 10,115 armed conflicts have occurred throughout the country during the two-and-a-half-year period of the coup.

“During the two-and-a-half years of the coup, there were at least 10,115 armed conflicts across the country. In 2023, there were at least 2,305 clashes across the country, and more than 48% of them occurred between military councils and joint forces of EAOs and local defense forces,” ISP Myanmar reported.
