1. At the CRPH regular work coordination meeting, affairs committees present updates on the state of the work being done

The regular work coordination meeting of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) was held via video conferencing on June 2.

At the meeting, in his opening remarks, Chairman U Aung Kyi Nyunt said that such a meeting is important in order to coordinate and connect the work undergoing and future work by each affairs committee. After that, members of each affairs committee reported on their work-related activities, including the state of their collaboration with international organisations, support for CDM civil employees, the ground situation of local interim administration procedures, and their involvement in federal training and seminars.

The Chairman and members of the CRPH, as well as members and relevant officials of the affairs committees, attended the meeting.

2. NUG Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe had a cordial discussion with university officials and experts at the invitation of Arizona State University (ASU) and met with Myanmar people from the Phoenix area of Arizona

On June 2, at the invitation of the Arizona State University (ASU), Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister of Education and Health of the National Unity Government, visited the ASU and had a discussion with university officials and experts. During the discussion, agreements were reached between ASU and the NUG Ministry of Education, especially to collaborate on university education for students in Myanmar, to offer scholarships, and to develop online education.

Later, the Union Minister had a warm meeting with Burmese families from Phoenix, Arizona, and the surrounding area and openly discussed the current state of affairs and plans for the Spring Revolution. The attendees also talked about the support and fundraising they are conducting for the Spring Revolution and exchanged views with the Union Minister. Then Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe received the revolutionary funds donated by Myanmar families.

3. Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe says that the Spring Revolution is being fought for the sake of future generations

At the Talk Show: “Mutual Cooperation between Defence and Administrative Bodies” conducted by the CDF-Mindat as part of the 500 million MMK fundraising campaign held on June 3, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe remarked: ” If we look at it all in general, in both territorial control and ethnic unity, it is obvious that the revolution is progressing. At this time, we have to work hard; we cannot just stand there and do nothing given that the revolution has been going on for over a year. We must do it. This revolution is not being fought for ourselves. We are fighting it for the future, for the new generation.”

On September 7, 2021, it was announced that the People’s Defensive Revolution had started. The National Unity Government is registering the PDF battalions and arming them as part of its current efforts to transition from defensive to offensive.

4. The NUG Deputy Minister of Education encourages all the revolutionary forces to focus on defeating the military council, which is the common enemy of all

On June 3, Deputy Minister of Education Ja Htoi Pan stated the following, urging all the revolutionary forces to focus on defeating the military council, which is the common enemy of all:

“Learning is widespread and not limited to the classroom. Bachelor’s degrees and passing grades are prerequisites, but in the real life, skills and learning from experiences will matter more. All of us members of the revolution need to continue working with mutual understanding and respect. Since everyone has paid for the revolution, it is important to continue fighting unitedly with the main focus on defeating the military council, which is everyone’s common enemy.”

Parents and CDM students are continuing to boycott the schools run by the military council, and there are a few parents who are enrolling in those schools out of concern for their children’s literacy.

5. Over 70 junta troops, including a major and three other ranks of officers, were killed in two days of fighting in Singu Township

On June 3, the Singu Township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO/Pa-Ka-Fa) reported: “On May 24 and 25, fighting broke out between the combined forces of the Singu Township Pa-Ka-Fa and allies and the military council forces in the Singu, Thel Inn, and Kyet Tu Yway areas. The fighting resulted in the deaths of over 70 military council soldiers, including a major and three other ranks of officers.”

In the last month, the Singu Township Pa-Ka-Fa and the Pyin Oo Lwin District Pa-Ka-Fa (the Sky Force) joined forces to attack two military trucks travelling from Let Pan Hla with mines when they arrived near Pat Lel Inn village, resulting in the serious injuries of the military council troops on the trucks.

6. Pale Township PAO/Pa-Ah-Fa requests others revolutionary forces to apprehend two individuals who escaped after fraudulently taking more than 300 million kyats from those who looked for work overseas in Pale Township

On June 4, the Pale Township People’s Administrative Organisation (PAO/Pa-Ah-Fa) issued a statement requesting other revolutionary forces to help apprehend Aung Zaw Tun and Ye Mon, who allegedly took money from those who looked for work overseas in Pale Township before escaping.

It stated: “Aung Zaw Tun (Father: U Than Win), holder of National ID: 5/PaLaNa(Naing)114505, deceived job seekers in Pale Township to find them employment in Malaysia, sent them there with a fee of 380,000 kyats per person, and then ran away with a total of more than 300 million kyats from them. According to the investigation of the Pale Township PAO/Pa-Ah-Fa and PDO/Pa-Ka-Fa, it was found out that the person behind Aung Zaw Tun is Ye Mon, a resident of Zee Phyu Kone village of Pale Township, and that the two of them are currently residing in Sule and Baham Townships, respectively, and are trying to escape abroad.”

The People’s Administrative Organisation (PAO/Pa-Ah-Fa) and the People’s Defence Organisation (PDO/Pa-Ka-Fa) of Pale Township asked the general public to alert them if Aung Zaw Tun and Ye Mon were discovered. They also asked other revolutionary forces to apprehend and detain them if they were discovered in their respective territories.
