Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said at the cabinet meeting (13/2023) of the National Unity Government held in April that the revolution will definitely prevail if all the revolutionary forces are able to “unite and fight together”.
“If all our revolutionary forces are able to “unite and fight together”, our revolution will definitely prevail,” said the Union Prime Minister.
From the beginning of the People’s Resistance War until March 2023, 29,650 junta lackeys of the terrorist military council were killed and 11,230 injured.
2. The Ministry of Health of the National Unity Government gave a briefing on the status of operations and the future plans
On April 7, the National Unity Government’s Ministry of Health held a briefing on the status of operations and plans for the future at the regular virtual meeting of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) via video conference.
At the meeting, after CRPH chairman U Aung Kyi Nyunt gave an opening speech, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Dr. Shwe Pon explained the Ministry’s federal health system establishment and community-based health system, Federal Health Myanmar’s online training, mental health service, immunization activities and the resumption of routine immunization activities, the status of the National Health Conference and the National Health Seminar to develop a federal health system, and ground healthcare and emergency healthcare in the health service provision sector.

3. Union Minister of Justice said that the military council is feeding on the people’s handouts, but torturing the people is detestable
Union Minister U Thein Oo, Ministry of Justice, said in a meeting with judges on the ground held by the Interim Judicial Affairs Department on April 8.
The Minister said that there have been ups and downs in the past 2 years as the National Unity Government, and it is on the upswing in general. He also added that some field judges who are working on the front lines are acutely aware that there are sad tragedies in some places and that the military council is feeding on the people’s handouts, but torturing the people is detestable.

4. There have been nearly 8,000 war refugees in Tanintharyi Township who are in need of emergency assistance
On April 8, Dawna Tenasserim – IDPs Supply Force informed that there have been nearly 8,000 displaced people in Tanintharyi Township who are in need of emergency assistance.
“About 800 residents of Taku and Banlamut Village groups had to flee as a junta column marched with a large force on April 19. Last April 1, after the attack of the people’s defense forces on Yebyu strategic hill, the fighting between the two sides escalated, and according to the current situation, the number of local evacuees in 5 village groups in Tanintharyi Township is increasing. According to the collected data, there are nearly 8,000 people in more than 1,500 households, including nearly 400 children under the age of 1, and 800 children between the ages of 1 and 5.”
In Tanintharyi Township, Myeik District, where martial law has been declared, the military situation has been tense since the middle of March, due to the incursions of the junta troops, and the fighting between the people’s defense forces and the military council troops, and many local residents are fleeing the war.
5. A battle broke out between the military council forces, who were operating in a column on the eastern mountainous parts of Tanil Lale Village in the east Demoso, and the Karenni Army (KA) and KNDF joint forces, resulting in the deaths of more than 10 junta troops
KNDF Battalion-06 informed the military news on April 8 that more than 10 people were killed in the fighting between the military council forces, who were operating in a column on the eastern mountainous parts of Tanil Lale Village in the east Demoso, and the Karenni Army (KA) and KNDF joint forces.
“On the 4 and 5 of April, there was a fierce day-long battle between the military council forces, who were operating in a column on the eastern mountainous parts of Tanil Lale Village in the east Demoso, and the joint forces of the Karenni Army (KA) and the KNDF, Karenni State,” it stated.
Karenni Army (KA), KNDF Strategic (6) Battalion KNDF B/09, KNDF Strategic (4) Battalions; KNDF B/01, KNDF B/05, KNDF B/06 and KNDF B/07 and the KNDF Central Drone Forces jointly attacked the troops of the military council who were moving in a column on the eastern ridge of Tanil Lale Village.
During the two-day encounter, the military council’s LIB-102, based in Ngwetaung, and the battalions based in Loikaw Township reinforced with excessive heavy weapon fire. On April 4, at 3:00 p.m., a fighter jet of the military council fired for 6 times.
During the encounter, more than 10 members of the military council were killed, and many others were injured. 2 MA-1 guns with the IB-517, one of the military council’s patrol battalions, 1 MA-3 gun and bullets, related ammunition, and some accessories were seized.
6. The Myanmar Directorate of Defence Industry, DI-10 (Ka Pa Sa – 10), at upper Minhla that manufactures long-range missiles and tank-used grenades, was attacked with 2 shock missiles

The People’s Revolution Alliance (PRA-Magway) confirmed that the attack was conducted at 8:30 p.m. on April 7, when Chinese, Russian, and North Korean experts arrived.
According to ground confirmation, the factory building was destroyed by fire, and the enemy may have been killed or injured. It was reported that the operation was a strategic target demolition operation and fired with 107-MM missiles.
The attack was jointly carried out by the Asho Chin Defence Force – ACDF and the Key of Revolution Guerrilla Force.
7. The joint forces of KIA and KPDF, and the military council troops fought for 2 consecutive days in Indaw, and about 40 members of the military council were killed
On April 8, the Indaw Revolutionary Alliance confirmed that the joint forces of the KIA and KPDF, and junta troops had fought for 2 consecutive days in Indaw.
“In Indaw Township, Katha District, Upper Sagaing Division, the military council army, which was stationed for more than 20 days in Nanthar Village, which is about 8 miles west of Indaw, and the KIA and KPDF joint forces fought for 2 consecutive days on April 6 and 7, resulting in the deaths of about 40 junta soldiers, and our 4 revolutionary comrades were fallen,” it stated.
On April 6, the KIA and KPDF joint forces intercepted more than 100 junta soldiers who were marching from Nanthar Village to Mawteik Village at 9:00 a.m. Nearly 30 junta soldiers were killed, many others wounded, and 2 KIA comrades and 1 KPDF comrade were fallen.
At 7:00 a.m. on April 7, fighting continued near Nanthar Village, and about 10 members of the military council were killed, and one KPDF soldier was fallen again.
The dead and wounded junta soldiers were taken back to the Indaw military compound in a funeral car and a military vehicle. It is reported that the dead soldiers were cremated in the compound, and the wounded soldiers were being treated there.
8. The Wayazein weapon production and repair team successfully produced a hand-made sniper rifle
On April 8, the Wayazein weapon production and repair team announced that it had successfully produced a handmade sniper rifle.
“It is a high intensity 7.62mm Sniper type produced by the Wayazein weapon production and repair team,” it was introduced.
The people’s defense forces also successfully produced hand-made guns, 40mm, 60mm and hand-made heavy weapons.
9. The Rays of Hope film will be screened at South Korea’s Gimhae
The Rays of Hope film exhibition committee said that the film will be shown at South Korea’s Gimhae.
“The revolution fundraising film, “The Rays of Hope”, will be shown in Gimhae. The proceeds from the film screening will be used for the revolution,” it stated.
During the 9th and 10th months of 2022, director Ko Puk’s film “The Road Not Taken” which was screened in Bupyeong and Gimhae, was able to raise 34,803,800 won in revolutionary funds.
The funds were sent to the NUG Ministry of Defence through the “The Road Not Taken” film committee and were effectively used for the revolution.
