Acting President Duwa Lashi La warned that the terrorist military council was meeting with some ethnic organizations to create a fake peace conference.
Acting President Duwa Lashi La said the following in the cabinet meeting (12/2023) of the National Unity Government:
“We can see that the terrorist military council is meeting with some ethnic organizations and trying to create a fake peace conference. We can clearly see that the fascist army is trying to create division among the ethnic groups in various ways, just like their usual habit. Therefore, it is time for us all to watch the army’s trap with great caution. We strongly urge all ethnic leaders to be careful about the actions of the terrorist fascist army.”
Currently, the National Unity Government is cooperating with ethnic resistance forces such as KIA and KNU.

The Union Prime Minister said in the cabinet meeting held on March 28 that this year is a year to eradicate the inhumane terrorist military council until it cannot set foot on Myanmar’s land.
“The message I want to give the people through the cabinet meeting is that we have overcome the difficult times of the revolution together for more than 2 years. This year is the year when we will try our best to fight and attack those inhumane terrorist military council troops until they can’t set foot on our ground. So let’s face the difficulties together and walk towards the goal of success,” he said.
The National Unity Government has declared 2023 as the year that will decide the victory of the revolution.
3. Presenting to work with the ICRC/Suu Foundation to enforce International Humanitarian Law among armed organizations and revolutionary forces at the NUG cabinet meeting
Dr Sasa, the Union Minister of the Ministry of International Cooperation, presented and discussed working with the ICRC/Suu Foundation to enforce International Humanitarian Law among armed organizations and revolutionary forces at the NUG cabinet meeting on March 28.
At the meeting, the Union Minister of the Ministry of International Cooperation, Dr. Sasa, presented that the NUG, as a government, should work with the ICRC/Suu Foundation to have more understanding, give respect and follow International Humanitarian Law among the armed organizations and revolutionary forces that are cooperating with us.
The 12th cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government is attended by Acting Present Duwa Lashi La, Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers.

“Today is the 2nd anniversary of a nurse trainee, Thinzar Hein, who was killed while giving medical treatment to the protesting people in Monywa, Sagaing Division, who are still bravely revolting today. Now, many heroes sacrifice their lives and provide medical treatment on the front lines, like her. I promise that we will fight until the end to eradicate the military dictatorship and until we achieve justice for the innocent medical family members and the civilians who were killed like her.”
The National Unity Government is implementing a one-year strategic plan and increasing military momentum.
5. The meeting between the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration (MOHAI), the People’s Police Force and township People Security Forces in Sagaing Division and Magway Division (13/2023) was held
The meeting between the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, the People’s Police Force and the township People Security Forces in the Sagaing Division and Magway Division (13/2023) was held on March 28.

During the examination period, security and emergency health care for the participating comrades and local residents were organized and prepared systematically, and PDF comrades from the local column took charge.

The UEC of the terrorist military council has announced the dissolution of 40 political parties, including the National League for Democracy.
It was announced on the night of March 28 by the propaganda channel of the terrorist military council, MRTV.
According to the announcement, it is said that the cancellation is in accordance with Section 2(l) of the UEC’s declaration, and most of them are ethnic political parties.
It is said that the 40 parties that do not register by the deadline of the party registration date are automatically invalidated.
According to the statement issued by the Central Work Committee of the National Democratic League on January 29, 2023, any action of the military council that violates existing laws and commits treason is invalid. So, they will strongly oppose the sham election they will hold, and any individual and organization that cooperates with the military council will be considered as those who encourage and assist in the commission of treason.
In addition, National League for Democracy Chairperson Daw Aung San Suu Kyi said in her speech that party members should not worry about the party’s dissolution, to continue to do their work, and that if there are people, there will be the NLD party.
In the general election on November 8, 2020, 315 constituencies in the People’s Hluttaw, 161 constituencies in the Amyotha Hluttaw, 612 constituencies in the regional and state Hluttaws, and 29 constituencies for ethnic groups were held. A total of 1,117 Hluttaw representatives were elected, and the majority of the representatives who won were from the National League for Democracy Party.

“In the Kyondoe urban operation battle in Kawkareik Township, Karen State, on March 25, the Lion Battalion Commando-strategic column led by the Bo Eh Say, Wah, together with joint columns of the Karen revolutionary forces and other PDF forces, strategically infiltrated and attacked the junta troops, Border Guard Force BGF, and the police stationed in LIB (545/546) based in Kyondoe, Kawkareik Township, Karen State, Kyondoe Police Station, Gyaing Bridge and the Ngartaing middle school on March 25 at 7:30 a.m.
From March 25 to 26, during the 2-day battle, there where 15 or more were killed on the side of the terrorist military council, a large number of people were seriously injured, and the whole column fled in disarray.
During the battle, Comrade Moe Thet Maung Maung @ Ashaygyi, Comrade Myo Min Hlaing @ Myo Gyi and Comrade Thareni from the Lion Battalion Commando – strategic column were bravely fallen.
