Acting President Duwa Lashi La sent the 15th congratulatory letter for receiving the $100,000 monthly grant from the ONE DAY CHALLENGE Campaign. It was reported regarding the One Day Challenge activities on February 24.
“The Anti-Coup Committee (Korea) monthly sent the Won equivalent of 100,000 USD to National Unity Government from funds raised by the One-Day Challenge Campaign, from August 2021 to February 2023. As of February 23, 2023, a total of $1,500,000 has been sent to the National Unity Government,” it stated.
The National Unity Government has announced that the ONE DAY CHALLENGE grant is being used to implement the National Unity Government’s local and territorial governance issues.

The Union Prime Minister said that the spring revolution will soon reach a turning point in history. On February 23, the Prime Minister said the following at the Interim Local Public Administration Central Committee’s (8/2023) meeting:

Minister Naw Susanna Hla Hla Soe informed the public that the policy on sexual harassment, exploitation, and misconduct would be released next week. In February, the Minister said at a meeting between the Legislative Vetting and Advising Department and the Ministry of Women, Youth, and Children Affairs.
The “N-PSHEA Policy” on sexual harassment, exploitation, and misconduct is the final draft, and the policy is a moral guideline. Employees of the NUG’s 17 ministries, including soldiers, officers, and administrative staff, as well as PDFs and PSFs working in the Ministry of Defense, will be required to follow the policy. The policy is scheduled to be presented to the cabinet and released next week.
Officials from the Legislative Vetting and Advising Department discussed the legal amendments and inappropriate points to include in the “Protection Policy on Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, and Misconduct” during the meeting. After that, the Women, Youth, and Children Affairs Ministry’s officials also clarified discussion points.

“On February 20, we, the CAF-SPUPDF Pakokku District No. 4 Battalion, Division (1), participated in the National Unity Government’s Women, Youth, and Children Affairs Ministry’s donation ceremony to a village in Seikphyu township.
The Ministry of Women’s Youth and Children’s Affairs has also provided grants to tens of thousands of pregnant women.

The National Unity Government is recruiting CDM healthcare professionals to work in the Interim state/Federal unit’s hospitals and clinics. The Ministry of Health of the National Unity Government called for applications on February 23.
“Applications can be submitted to work in hospitals and clinics within the NUG Ministry of Health and the Interim state/federal units,” it stated.
Positions to be applied between February 23 and March 16, 2023, are listed below:
- Specialist doctors
- Doctors
- Dental specialists
- Dentists
- Specialist postgraduate trainees
- Diploma holders in medical and medical-related fields
- Nurses
- Diploma and Graduate from medical technology institutes
- Graduates from pharmaceutical universities
- Traditional medicine practitioners

The NUG Early Partnership Program introduced six investable blocks in Thurein Taung from the Mogok blocks. On February 23, the NUG Early Partnership Program reported as follows:
“Thurein Taung is the block that produced the famous 690-carat sapphire cluster. Precious gems are located around Thurein Taung. We have identified six investable blocks there. The license period for gem production is ten years from the start of the business.”

It has been reported that defense forces launched a mine attack on three cars from the military council’s 258th unit in Yesagyo township. Yesagyo – PDF confirmed the military news on February 23 as follows:
“The junta troops, who entered the city in three cars from the Yesagyo township’s 258th unit, were attacked by mines outside the town near an agricultural farm.”
Two cars were hit by mines and destroyed at that place, and the junta troops’ casualties are still being investigated. The people’s defense comrades were able to retreat unharmed.
9. Four junta forces killed and two others injured in the attack on Kathe’s general administration office in Mogok
It has been reported that defense forces attacked the Kathe group’s General Administration Office, guarded by a part of the army in Kathe ward, west of Mogok. The Red Wolves Of Mogok confirmed the following on February 23 at 5:40 AM:
“At 5:40 a.m. on February 23, a joint operation team of People’s Defense Force’s Battalions 1221 (Red Wolves Of Mogok) and 1223 attacked the Kathe group’s General Administration Office, guarded by a part of the army in Kathe ward, west of Mogok.”
Following that, there was a 7-minute exchange of fire with small arms, and the defense comrades were able to retreat unharmed. According to the initial report, the attack damaged the office’s wall and roof, and four junta soldiers were killed and two others injured.
