The Union Prime Minister stated that if we could eliminate the common enemy, we could achieve the true union that everyone desired. In February, Mahn Win Khaing Than, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, said the following:

“The public is well aware of who is the country’s true common enemy, and I definitely believe that if we can eliminate this common enemy, we will be able to establish the real union that we all desire.”

In the current spring revolution, ethnic revolutionary forces, including KNU and KIA, have been revolutionizing the military council.

2. The National Unity Government supports 507.15 million Kyats for humanitarian aid

The National Unity Government’s Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Ministry announced on February 18 that it can support 507.15 million Kyats for humanitarian aid. “As the NUG’s Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Ministry, in January 2023, we could support 507.15 million Kyats for humanitarian aid,” it stated.

In addition, raincoats, warm clothing, and blankets have been provided to displaced people suffering from wind and snow due to climate change. Also, the Ministry has been planning to rebuild homes in villages burned down by the terrorist army.

Blood Money Campaign reported in February that Malaysia-based companies such as Destiny Berhad, ENRA Group Berhad, and Muhibbah Engineering continue to work on the regime’s oil projects.

“The main financial stream of the military group is the oil and natural gas industry, which is supported in various ways by companies based in ASEAN countries. Malaysia is the most active supporter of Myanmar affairs among ASEAN countries. Malaysia-based companies such as Destini Berhad, ENRA Group Berhad, and Muhibbah Engineering continue to work as service and maintenance support in oil projects that are the financial source of the regime,” it stated.

According to Justice for Myanmar’s statement, Malaysian companies such as Destini Berhad, ENRA Group Berhad, Muhibbah Engineering, and Singapore companies such as Energy Drilling, Federal International, Ben Lines Agencies, as well as Indonesian companies such as PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators and Vietnam companies such as PetroVietnam, continue to work with the regime-controlled MOGE. The collaboration of these companies with MOGE supports the illegal coup group to continue committing numerous war crimes.

It is also stated that these companies continue to blatantly violate the business and human rights ethics and basic guidelines that must be followed.

4. Men and female warriors from the People’s Defense Force, including locals, will take the Ministry of Education’s matriculation exam

No. 3 Military Region Sub-Division reported on February 18 that men and female warriors from the People’s Defense Force, including locals, will take the NUG Ministry of Education’s matriculation exam.

“Men and female warriors from the People’s Defense Force, including locals, from the Military Region Sub-Division No.3, have been preparing to take the exam to be held by the NUG Education Ministry.
