At the 77th session of the UN General Assembly on the 24th plenary meeting, the Myanmar Ambassador said in a general discussion regarding the report of the Human Rights Council.

“The army violates all basic human rights on a daily basis such as public security, The right to life, prohibition from persecution, the right to a fair trial, and freedom of expression. During the 21-month period of the illegal military coup, various acts of violence have been committed, including the execution of political prisoners for the first time in three decades, the arrest of citizens, and the kidnapping of family members as hostages,” he said. The Ambassador reiterated more than 2,400 people have been killed and nearly 16,000 forcibly detained until today. Moreover, 1.4 million people in Myanmar are homeless and 15.2 million are facing the problem of food insufficiency.

During the attack, two soldiers of the terrorist military council were killed due to open fire by sniper men from the Cobra column,” they said. According to news confirmation from the battlefield, there were no casualties from the people’s comrades.
