On October 22, the National Unity Government, Acting President Duwa Lashi La, said at the commemoration ceremony of Deepavali day which organized by the Myanmar-Hindu association.

“In the invitation letter for the commemoration ceremony of Deepavali day, I saw the phrase “Collective prayer for revolution in this Deepavali festival”. Also, I saw the expression “Revolutionary Deepavali Celebration”. Therefore, on behalf of the National Unity Government, Acting President Duwa Lashi La bowed deeply for receiving together as the revolutionary monument on this Deepavali day, which falls during the Myanma Spring Revolution,” he said.  If we look at the past history of Myanmar, we can see that the Hindu society has always co-existed in an important role in the Burmese society, especially in the history of the national liberation movement in the colonial era, we have seen that the life and blood and sweat of the Gorakh Hindus have made significant sacrifices in the history of the struggle for independence, the Acting President reiterated.

National Unity Government, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, presented and discussed the activities of the Ministry at the regular work coordination meeting of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.

The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) informed that the meeting was held via video conference on October 21. Firstly, the chairman of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) gave opening remarks at the meeting.
