National Unity Government, Interim Local Administration Central Committee, and Public Administration Organizations of Special Administrative Regionshad a discussion

On October 2, the National Unity Government, Interim Local Administration Central Committee, and Public Administration Organizations of Special Administrative Regions had a discussion. At the meeting, Dr. Tu Khaung, Union Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, a member of the Interim Local Administration Central Committee, gave an opening speech. The attending members from the relevant organizations discussed the operation of each sector within the special administrative region including finance, electricity, communications, tax collection, defense, health, education, judiciary and natural resources and environmental conservation. And then, members of the administrative region had a mutual discussion about difficulties encountered on the ground and the issues what they wanted to know.

The meeting was attended by leaders of public administration organizations from special administrative regions, members and ministers from relevant Ministries, Deputy Ministers, and Permanent secretaries.

Union Minister Dr. Sasa says that the military council’s biggest fear is the drone

 On October 2, Union Minister Dr. Sasa said that the military council’s biggest fear is the drone in the fundraising ceremony for the Drone Project. “The Military council biggest fear is drone. They can’t sleep. We know that they can’t sleep very well and they also know themselves. Now, they are moving from one place to another to sleep,” Dr Sasa said.

The Deputy Minister of Defense informed that six drone war zones have been established Nationwide

At the fund-raising event for the Drone Project held on October 2, U Naing Kaung Ywut, Deputy Minister of Defence said that six drone war zones have been established nationwide. “Now, the National Unity Government NUG, led by the Ministry of Defense and I, have formed six drone war zones across the country. Zone two includes Chin and Magway state, therefore, the PDF Zoland is a part of Zone two. We are working in a connection with this group and also provide funding,” he said. At present, the Ministry of Defense is also working hard to form more drone forces and providing the necessary production facilities for that.

On October 2, the KNDF reported the news that more than one hundred soldiers of the terrorist military council were killed in Karenni State during September.

“During September, the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF), the Karenni Army (KA), and other allied People’s Defense Forces engaged in at least 57 battles with the terrorist military council in Karenni State. During the clashes, exceeding 104 members of the military council were killed and more than 60 were injured,” he said. MA-1 (3), MA-2 (3), MA-3 (8), 1-MG machine gun, RPG fruit, cluster bombs and ammunition were able to save from the terrorist military council and destroy one vehicle. During the one-month clashes, over a hundred of local resident houses and two churches were destroyed due to the massive use of weapons by the military council, also seven houses were damaged due to one-sided gunfire without any fighting.

In October, an Inland Shipping employee confirmed that the front door of the Inland Shipping Chindwin branch office in Monywa city has been closed and non CDM staffs are sneaking into the office from the back door.
