Union Prime Minister, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, remarked at the International Democracy Day held on September 15.

“Young people who are progressing in mental and physical development have peacefully called on the military to give up the military coup. However, the military dictators who do not understand the power of people still have misconception that they can terrorize the people by killing the people who have developed much more intelligence than them,” — Union Prime Minister said.

After the military coup on February 1, 2021, until today, the terrorist army killed more than two thousand people, and more than ten thousand people are currently under detention.

At the ceremony of International Democracy Day 2022, U Aung Kyi Nyunt, the Chairman of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), said this.

He said, “The murderous leader, the fascist military dictator, who opposed democracy for ages and brutally oppressed the people who tried to establish a democratic country, is now trying to deceive the international community by using the word democracy and holding elections as a political exit to reduce international pressure.”

In addition, U Aung Kyi Nyunt also said that the elections held by the dictators were never fair and free, and the 2010 election is proof that they restricted the right to freedom of information and then made the result they wanted.

The five-day seminar was attended by representatives from the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), Joint Coordination Committee-Health (JCC-Health), National Health Committee (NHC), and the Ministry of Health of the National Unity Government, Ethnic Health Organizations (EHOs), National and International Organizations, medical students, students from allied medical specialties, healthcare academics, and other invited guests, and the daily average of the seminar was about 160.
