The NUG Minister of Home Affairs informs the public that warfare will be sped up

On September 13, U Lwin Ko Latt, Union Minister of Home Affairs, posted on social media.

“This year, we will increase the speed of war more than last year. The combat power of the People’s Defense comrades has been increased with the weapons that were equipped last year and the additional equipment being installed this year. In terms of fighting ability and morale, the military council troops are tired of fighting in the front lines, and the number of soldiers who defect from the military council and come to the embrace of the people is increasing day by day. On the other hand, at a time when the fighting spirit of their troops is low, our PDF comrades are eager to fight. But it won’t be for long. We will ‘enter the kingdom’ with the fighting sprits of our comrades,” the Union Minister said.

In the one year from September 7, 2021 to September 6, 2022, after the announcement of the emergency situation of the National Unity Government, there were 25,107 dead and 8,023 injured on the side of the coup terrorist military council.

The minister said, “If we look at the support of the people buying everything that the Ministry of Planning and Finance is selling, the victory spirit of the people is strong. Within one year after the ‘State of Emergency’ declaration of the Acting President, the defensive war waged by the people’s defense forces and urban guerrillas was able to open all military fronts in the urban, rural, and forest.”

Daw Thant Wai Kyaw, MP of Sagaing Region, told radio NUG that the floor price will start at 3 million Myanmar kyats on September 12, and the auction will close on September 27.

“I intend to give the funds raised to one of the less well-known defense groups in the upper Myanmar region, which finds it difficult to get funds. There is also a group that I intend to give. Also, I have colleagues and sisters; I want to share it with them too. I am doing this auction with this plan. This auction is simple, it is about things I bought and also, I’m wearing now. This auction is my second time. I know that if I do it with a raffle, I’ll receive more fund, but I’ve difficulty doing it carefully. I am satisfied if I get the target that I expected, so I choose the auction system and set the price of the floor at 3 million kyats.”
