“Killing children who are studying cannot be forgiven at all,” said the Union Minister.
On February 5, at around 10:00 a.m., a school in Daw Si Ei Village, west of Demoso Township in Karenni State, was bombed by 2 military council jet fighters. In the incident, 4 students died and more than 10 were seriously injured.

Continuing, the Union Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Sasa, who attended on behalf of the CDM Success Committee, said that he was very happy to be invited to the CDM meeting, that he saluted everyone for doing CDM because of their faith even after 3 years, that these 3 years have been cruel years, that the courage of CDMs has been shown until the world recognizes them, that the CDM movement was the first in the Spring Revolution, that they continue to participate in revolutionary movements through this momentum, that CDM is an opportunity that hasn’t existed in ages, and that it is a proud event for future generations in the process of changing the whole future of Myanmar.
After that, the CDM employees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the Union Ministers and discussed the conditions of attendance at the courses opened by the Ministry, health care provisions, subsidy programs, and CDM affairs.

5. The 3 Brotherhood Alliance says that this is the most hopeful period for revolutionary organizations
The 3 Brotherhood Alliance stated that the current period of revolution against the military dictatorship marks the peak of revolution speed and the most promising phase for revolutionary organizations.
This was said in a message sent by the 3 Brotherhood Alliance, MNTJP/MNDAA, PSLF/TNLA, and ULA/AA, on the occasion of the 63rd Kachin Revolution Day, which fell on February 5.
The message states that the time when even the Burmans are fighting against Burman chauvinism has come, and this time marks a period of the most intensified revolution and increased hope for revolutionary groups in the struggle against the oppressive fascist and terrorist military dictatorship.

6. A bomb fell on a school in Demoso, killing 4 children and injuring 10
The Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF) has confirmed that four children were killed and at least 10 were injured in an airstrike by the military council on Daw Si Ei Village School in Myat Le Village Tract, Demoso Township.
“At around 11:45 p.m., they dropped a bomb directly on the school,” KNDF (Headquarters) News and Information Department spokesperson Saw Tha El Soe told Myanmar Now Media.
He continued that two military council aircraft had bombed the area after circling around eight times, while their ground military bases had also launched heavy artillery shells at the same location.
The children who died were between 11 and 13 years old. It is also reported that the villages bombed by the military council are not battle zones but shelters for people fleeing the war.
NUG stated at a press conference on October 4, 2023, that 491 children were killed by the military council nearly three years after the military coup.

After more than 700 military council soldiers fled across the border into India since November 2023, the Indian authorities announced plans to build a fence along the border between the two countries.
In Rakhine state, in addition to Maungdaw, battles are also taking place in townships such as Buthidaung, Ponnagyun, Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Minbya, Ann, and Ramree.

The attacks were carried out jointly by Pakokku Township’s PaKaFa Company (2) along with the Myaing-Pakokku Alliance Joint Forces.
11. 1 soldier of the military council who was extorting money from the people was shot dead, and 1 was arrested alive
According to the Mohnyin K-PDF battalion, when they tried to arrest 1 military council soldier and his companion who were extorting money from civilians on the city bypass road in Mohnyin, Kachin State, 1 was killed and 1 was captured alive.
“On February 4, based on information provided by the public, we apprehended 2 soldiers from the military council. Unfortunately, one of them tried to resist using a weapon and was fatally shot during the operation,” stated the Mohnyin Township People’s Defense Force.
The other one who was unarmed was captured alive, and a gun held by the military council soldier along with two phones were seized by the Mohnyin K-PDF battalion.
The Mohnyin K-PDF has also requested the people of Mohnyin to send news related to the military council to the Mohnyin K-PDF Battalion in a timely manner.
