The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) acknowledges with gratitude that the European Parliament passed a resolution with regard to Myanmar issue
On October 6, on behalf of the people of Myanmar and the media, the CRPH acknowledged with gratitude that the European Parliament resolution with respect to the freedom of media banning cases in Myanmar and the arbitrary arrest of independent journalists Ko Sithu Aung Myint and Ma Nyein Nying Aye.
“Furthermore, the statement included in the decision strongly condemned the violent and illegal rule of Myanmar by military dictators. It will not be possible to prevent the terrorist army led by the murderous leader Min Aung Hlaing from intentionally killing the people of Myanmar, arresting and imprisoning them, and attacking with unlimited indiscriminate air strikes and heavy weapons.
Therefore, there is a special need to punish the war crimes committed by the military in accordance with international laws in an effective and timely manner,” the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw said.

National Unity Government, Interim Local Administration Central Committee held (10/2022) a regular meeting with extended public administration bodies on October 7 at 9:00 am. At the meeting, Dr. Win Myat Aye, Union Minister of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, gave an opening speech, and the attendees Union Ministers and Deputy Union Ministers said greeting respectively. Additionally, members of the relevant ministries clarified the carried-out activities and the expanded public administration groups discussed the difficulties encountered on the ground and what they wanted to know.
The meeting was attended by Union Ministers, Deputy Union Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, officials from extended public administration bodies, and others related department.

At the opening ceremony of Myanmar Nway-Oo University (MNOU), Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said that it has been one year and eight months since CDM teachers participated in the Myanma Spring Revolution without salary.
“CDM teachers have been there for one year and eight months despite all the difficulties. There is no way in this world to participate in the revolution without salary. We are doing this revolution with those kinds of people, and we recognize this,” he said.
The employees from the education and health sectors mostly participated in the anti-dictatorship movement after the military coup on February 1, 2021.

On October 7, the Ministry of Education held an opening ceremony of Myanmar Nway-Oo University (MNOU), an educational program for students in the higher education sector. Myanmar Spring University (MNOU) is a public university of the Ministry of Education, jointly established by provisional university councils and subject groups for interim education. MNOU is a university that will develop free education as an autonomous university and students who want to learn at MNOU can choose one of the three types of courses posted on the online learning platform. Also, students will be able to register and learn about the courses they are interested in. For those students who do not want to study under the military dictatorship, the Myanma Nway-Oo University (MNOU) aims to develop a federal democratic education for all students, and it was opened as a public online university on October 7, 2022.

He said to the People’s goal media regarding “the status of the Myanmar issue discussion at the 77th United Nations General Assembly”. “The 77th United Nations General Assembly has not finished yet. It has just started. The plan that government leaders discussed as to the policy issues ended on September 26. There is a second plan from January to September of next year,” he said.

On October 25, the UN Secretary-General’s representative of Myanmar will submit and read a report, also Mr. Thaw Matt will submit a report of Myanmar human rights issues on October 26.
