U Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, Union Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, said that as the military council’s ability has declined to control the territory, they are doing “burn one’s house to get rid of the mice” actions. The Prime Minister said at the Interim Local Administration Central Committee’s meeting (31/2022) held on October 6.
“As the ability of territory control has declined, the military council is doing “burn one’s house to get rid of the mice” actions, hence there is a mass loss of people’s lives and property. The support of the government in these situations is grateful on behalf of the public, and working capabilities of our government have been recognized internationally. The performance of our government members has a direct impact on the revolution so that it is necessary to make concerted efforts,” he said.
The attendees from the Interim Local Administration Central Committee clarified decisions made on (30/2022), completed situations of preceding processes, and actions to be carried out for the remaining process. The meeting was led by U Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, the chairman of the Interim Local Administration Central Committee, and attended by the vice chairman (1), U Lwin Ko Latt, Union Minister of Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, central committee member Union Ministers, Deputy Union Ministers, permanent secretaries, and officials from respective departments.

After the participants introduced each other at the meeting, U Aung Kyi Nyunt, the chairman of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) gave an opening speech. After that, U Tun Kyi, a member of the leading committee of the Spring Revolution Myanmar Muslim Network, gave an introduction and explanation about the SRMMN organization. Next, the participants from both organizations discussed the current processes and issues of future cooperation in a friendly and open manner.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), the secretary and members, and officials from the Spring Revolution Myanmar Muslim Network.

It is informed that Phuu Saw Htee pretends to be PDF and plans are being made to decline the reputation of the National Unity Government. National Unity Government, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration issued a request letter to UN organizations, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations in Myanmar. According to the statement, at present, Phuu Saw Htee groups, which are the puppets of the military council, pretend to be PDF and plan to decline the NUG’s reputation by attacking the UN staff who are helping the people fleeing the war. Therefore, if the United Nations organizations go to NUG’s controlled areas in Sagaing and Magway Region and carry out aid activities; it is necessary to notify the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration in order to cooperate with local public administration organizations and the local public protection organizations in security and support activities.

It is reported that the National Unity Government will carry out heritage conservation activities starting from Sagaing. The Interim Board for Heritage Administration, and township public administration bodies of Sagaing and Magway region had a meeting on October 6. U Soe Thura Tun, Union Minister of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, chairman of the Interim Board for Heritage administration delivered an open speech at the meeting. “Due to the current conflicts, the National Unity Government must protect the natural cultural heritage to avoid adverse effects, and take prior actions from the possibility of crimes by the terrorist military group regarding the interim heritage. If the public defense organizations in the township and public administration bodies work hard, they will be able to maintain the interim heritage and the conservation of heritage will start from Sagaing and will gradually be carried out nationwide,” he said.
In addition, the heritage of Myanmar will be taken actions not only for the good of the whole society but also for peace and harmony among ethnic groups. The military council’s shooting of ancient pagodas in Mrauk U city, Rakhine State, and the heritage excavation of the old city of Hanlin in the Sagaing division are heartbreaking, Union Minister U Soe Thura Tun reiterated.
