Union Minister of Justice said that the Terrorist Military Group will have to surrender in this rainy season
In an interview in May, Union Minister of Justice, U Thein Oo said that the Terrorist Military Group must surrender this rainy season.
Union Minister said “If all the people work together, the Terrorist Military Group will be in a position to surrender this rainy season.”
Union Minister added that though the Terrorist Military Group was able to withstand due to the assistance of airstrikes, inside the military was in chaos.
On May 19, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government announced that 16,791 members of the military council had been killed during the eight-month period of the People’s Revolutionary War.
Members of the Central Committee for Interim Local Public Administration and Sagaing Region Hluttaw Representative Committee meet
At 10 am on May 22, members of Central Committee for Interim Local Public Administration and Sagaing Region Hluttaw Representative Committee met and discussed the issues related to implementation of the Interim Local Public Administration.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Interim Local Public Administration Central Committee, Prime Minister H.E. Mahn Winn Khaing Thann gave an opening speech. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Chairman and members of the Central Committee for Interim Local Public Administration, representatives from the Sagaing Region Hluttaw Representative Committee, and Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Directors-General from various ministries.
A meeting of Federal Health Professional Council discussed to dissolve and take action on the MMC
At the meeting of Federal Health Professional Council held on May 22, discussions were made to dissolve the Myanmar Medical Council (MMC) under the Military Council.
It is reported that the meeting was attended by Dr. Khin Maung Lwin, Dr. Salai Pa Cin, Dr. Myint Cho, a representative from the Universities of Nursing and members of the FHPC office, and discussed plans to dissolve the MMC, and to issue qualified standard Federal SAMA licenses, to produce health professionals in ethnic areas, and to improve the quality of Nurse Aid trainings.

He said “We do not want the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) to left Sagaing Division behind. The revolutions are interconnected. The Burmese have just met face to face with this situation, and so it has been slow. However, in concern of the people, we would like KIA to increase the supply of weapons.”
Currently, the military council troops number in hundreds are burning hundreds of villages in Sagaing Division.
