Acting President of the National Unity Government, Duwa Lashi La, said that the Spring Revolution is a revolution through politics based on the people, at the 78th birthday ceremony of National League for Democracy Chairperson Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on June 19.

“We all know that we are waging the Spring Revolution with all our might. The Spring Revolution is not a mass revolution based on the armed path alone. It is also a political revolution based on the public,” he said.

In addition, the Acting President said that we must always fight for public freedom, and that fighting for public freedom and public justice can be equated with public leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s release from prison.

We would like to express our best wishes to our State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all imprisoned women to be freed as soon as possible and continue to work for the sake of the country and the people,” it stated.

5. Nay Pyi Taw PaKaFa announced that the 80-mm heavy weapon was successfully test fired in commemoration of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s birthday

It is said that the junta soldiers threw flowers, photographed and beat the person who wore flowers.

Similarly, in Yangon, some young men and women, were arrested and prosecuted for participating in the flower strike campaign, and some were brought in for questioning.

7. 10 bombs were dropped on the police station in Kin Pun Chaung, Kyaikto Township, by a drone

On June 19, the Kyaikto Revolution – KR (KRF) informed the military news that a drone attack was carried out on the police station in Kin Pun Chaung, Kyaikto Township, Mon State, by dropping 10 bombs.

“On June 19, at 3:45 p.m., a drone attack was carried out on the police station in Kin Pun Chaung, Kyaikto Township, Mon State, by dropping 10 bombs as a military target, and the bombs exploded when they hit the targets,” it stated.

Currently, the casualties of the junta soldiers are still being confirmed.

The KRF has also informed that it will not carry out explosions or shootings that will harm the public.

8. Myaing Township police station and the places where the junta troops were heavily deployed, were attacked with small unmanned aerial vehicles 

On June 19, Myaing PaKaFa confirmed the military news that they attacked the Myaing Township police station and the places where the junta troops were heavily deployed, with small unmanned aerial vehicles.

“On June 18, at about 2:00 p.m., Myaing PaKaFa Drone Team, Squadron-3 and Squadron-4 of Myaing PaKaFa Battalion-2, Salingyi Special Task Force (SSTF), Shar Htoo Waw Team and Royal Eagle PDF (Pale), attacked the police station and the places where the junta troops were heavily deployed in Myaing, with small unmanned aerial vehicles using four 1kg bombs, twelve 450g bombs,” it stated.

Myaing PaKaFa said that the target was accurately hit and the junta soldiers, police and pyu members were injured.

9. The total number of civilian casualties in Kyaikto Township due to the firing of heavy weapons by the military junta has reached around 20

Karen National Union (KNU) announced on June 19 that the total number of civilian casualties in Kyaikto Township due to the firing of heavy weapons by the military junta has reached around 20.

It is said that on the night of June 16, at 7:35 p.m., the police station of Thein Za Yat fired five 60-mm artillery shells that exploded in Ywar Lay, the new ward of Thein Za Yat, killing one civilian woman and injuring four after being hit by shrapnel.

Due to the firing of heavy weapons from the military council’s police station in Thein Za Yat, one artillery shell exploded in the yard of U Bo Bo’s house at No. 8 Street in Ywar Lay new ward of Thein Za Yat, severely injuring U Bo Bo @ U Zin Bo Latt in his waist and hands and his 5-year-old daughter, Ma Thazin, in her face and buttocks. On June 19, around 12:00 noon, a member of DDMSC (Dawei Democracy Movement Strike Committee), Ko Min Lwin Oo’s father, who is over 60 years old, was beaten and arbitrarily abducted by the terrorist military.

It is reported that about 30 military council soldiers violently entered his house in Pyinhtein Village, Launglon Township, in 4 cars. They destroyed some items inside the house and took 2 phones and more than 800,000 Kyats.

Last November, 2021, military council soldiers violently stormed and arrested Ko Min Lwin Oo’s mother inside her home.
