It is also very important to continue applying military pressure. The administrative management of the controlled areas must be done more systematically. I would like to urge people to focus on the success of the revolution without straying from the goal of destroying the military dictatorship,” the Union Prime Minister said.
Union ministers, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, and officials from departments attended the meeting.

An explosion occurred in the courtyard of the fire station, and several junta soldiers, including officers, were injured.

“According to data collected by AAPP, from February 2021 to June 29, 2023, the courts subservient to the junta have put (940) women in prison under specious charges. The Mandalay Region has the highest number of imprisoned women with (347). Among the (940) women, there are (23) women who have been sentenced to serve additional long prison sentences, (29) women sentenced to life imprisonment and (15) women sentenced to death,” it stated.
As of June 29, a total of (23,644) people were arrested and among them, (19,288) are currently under detention, (6,612) of whom are serving sentences since the military coup in 2021.
8. A public strike movement against the military dictatorship held in Launglon Township
Led by the LGBT Community, one of the forces in the Dawei District Movement Strike Committee (DDMSC), a public strike movement against the military dictatorship, along with protesting violence and discrimination against those with different sexual orientations, was carried out in Launglon Township, Dawei District, on the afternoon of June 29.
In that movement, many women, youths and the general public from Launglon participated, holding the banner, “Embrace the differences and unite as strength”, and marched shouting slogans against the military dictatorship.
