1. International support will increase as global interest in Myanmar’s Spring Revolution grows, Acting President says  

Acting President Duwa Lashi La said international support would increase as global interest in Myanmar’s Spring Revolution grows. The president added that in his praising speech to the Chinlung Chuak Artist Group on March 11.   

“Chin Tube’s “We Are The World” cover song, which was presented by the YouTube channel on February 3, 2023, has already received over 1.7 million views in less than a month. If there is a public interest in a democratic country, it usually has an impact on the country’s government and those who can make the policy. Therefore, as global interest in Myanmar’s spring revolution grows, I believe that international support for our revolution will also increase,” the Acting President said. 

Moreover, the Acting President expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the Chinlung Chuak Artist group’s song “We Are The World” on behalf of the revolutionary forces and the people of Myanmar.

2. Union Minister Dr. Sa Sa says over 1.6 million Myanmar people have fled to IDP camps due to the terrorist military council attacks.

Union Minister Dr. Sa Sa said that over 1.6 million Myanmar people have fled to IDP camps due to the terrorist military council attacks. On March 10, the minister spoke at a meeting with CDM heroes, Spring Revolution heroes, and war refugees from Malaysia.

“Over the past two years, more than 1.6 million Myanmar people have fled to refugee and IDP camps due to the military council attacks. Currently, 27 million, half of Myanmar’s population of 54 million, are suffering in extreme poverty,” the Minister said. 

The terrorist military council has attacked civilians over 9,000 times and destroyed more than 50,000 innocent people’s homes, including churches, schools, and monasteries.

3. Justice Minister says efforts are being made to establish courts in accordance with the law 

Justice Minister U Thein Oo said that despite difficulties in establishing courts during the spring revolution, efforts are being made to conduct in accordance with the law. On March 11, the minister said at the Interim Judicial Affairs Department’s (4/2023) meeting with ground judges.

“Despite the difficulties in establishing courts during the spring revolution, efforts are being made to comply with the law. It is not about people when judging, but about policy, and it needs to be done with an intellect that can distinguish between right and wrong, justice and injustice. The appropriate punishment must be determined based on the period and region. Prisons are also administered by the Ministry of Justice, and prison reform efforts are underway,” the Minister said. 

Justice Minister U Thein Oo, Permanent Secretary U Min Naung Khaing, Director General of the Prison Department and Joint Permanent Secretary U Myo Aung, Director General of Interim Judicial Affairs U Yan Gyi Aung, Director General of Prosecution Department U Naing Myo Tun, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Judges from the 25 District Court Offices, and communications officers attended the ceremony.

4. Politics cannot be separated from the wishes and desires of the country’s citizens, according to the Czech Republic’s NUG representative 

On March 11, U Lin Thant, the Czech Republic’s NUG representative, stated that politics cannot be separated from the wishes and desires of the country’s citizens.

“Every politician and political activist must have full-domain knowledge of politics. It is also critical to have different political perspectives depending on the region. Politics is a delicate subject of how to find solutions based on diversity, and it cannot be separated from citizens’ wants and desires,” U Lin Thant said. 

The people of Myanmar are currently supporting the Spring Revolution and opposing the military dictatorship.

5. Bilin MP Daw Thiri Yadanar urged the public to purchase the memoirs written by PDF comrades

On March 11, Bilin MP Daw Thiri Yadanar informed the public on social media that memoirs written by PDF comrades during training had been published as “Spring Flower Bulletin” and encouraged people to purchase them. 

“The fund will flow to troubled areas, so I want the public to support it. The memorial letters written by the PDF comrades from KNU Brigade (1) during training have been published as “Spring Flower Bulletin” to assist troubled areas throughout the country. Some of the comrades who wrote this book have already died in battle, and Mahar Cho Literature has generously helped the editorial team of “Spring Flower” to publish the book,” it stated. The book price is 250 baht, and Mahar Cho Literature provides a list of agents that can be contacted.

6. A public political awareness lecture was held in Monywa

A public political awareness lecture was held in Monywa, according to the Monywa People’s Strike Steering Committee, on March 11.

“The Monywa People’s Strike Steering Committee, in collaboration with the Monywa township Public Administration Group and the People’s Defense Force, held a public political awareness lecture. The role of the public became more important as the revolution accelerated. The general public must consciously create the new state they desire,” they said. 

The political roadmap was explained and discussed with the public, including basic concepts such as democracy and federalism.

7. Sangha Union (Mandalay) states that the military council must take full responsibility if Pyigyidagun Sayardaw U Agga’s life is endangered

The Sangha Union (Mandalay) stated that if Pyigyidagun Sayardaw U Agga’s life is in danger, the military council must take full responsibility. The Sangha Union (Mandalay) issued a statement (3/2023) regarding the Pyigyidagun Sayardaw U Agga on March 11. 

“Pyigyidagun Sayardaw is a revolutionary Sayardaw who leads with compassion and bravery for the people destroyed by the military council and Pyu Saw Htee, who are slaves of the inhuman military dictator,” the statement said. 

Reportedly, power-crazed military dictators raided Letkapin village in Myinmu township on March 5, 2023, and arrested the Sayardaw U Agga. After the military council arrested Sayardaw and seven other revolutionary comrades, it was reported that the soldiers were brutally killed, but Sayardaw’s exact condition is unknown.

8. 6 killed and 21 seriously injured in a mine attack on junta troops marching up Chin Mountain

According to the Chinland Defense Force, on March 11, junta troops marching up Chin Mountain were attacked with mines, killing 6 military council forces and injuring 21 others.

“On March 10, at 8:30 a.m., CDF CDM SIYIN and MEDF joint forces launched a mine attack on junta troops marching up Chin Mountain. Six junta forces were killed on the spot, and 21 others were seriously injured,” it stated. Similarly, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 11, resistance forces launched ten landmine attacks on junta troops, resulting in numerous casualties.

9. The S.O.F Drone Force dropped 2 bombs on the Yinnyein police station in Paung township, Mon State

According to the Special Operations Force (S.O.F), on March 11, they dropped two bombs on the Yinnyein police station in Paung township, Mon State. 

“On March 11 at 1:30 PM, the S.O.F Drone Force accurately dropped two bombs on the military council’s Yinnyein police station in Paung township, Mon State,” it stated. The injured were taken by ambulance after four military council vehicles arrived from the Thaton, so there may be casualties. 

10. Myanmar Junta troops burned down a monastery and a village in Pekhon township

According to SSRY Shan Taung No. 1008, terrorist junta troops raided the border between Pinlaung township and Pekhon town, burning down a monastery and a village where most people fled the war in Pekhon township.

“On March 11, around 11:00 a.m., terrorist junta troops burned down a religious monastery and a village where the majority of Pa-O ethnic refugees lived. Fighting between terrorist junta troops and allied revolutionary forces in Pekhon township has been ongoing for more than three weeks, with many casualties on the side of the military council. Therefore, the revolutionary forces informed and encouraged the public to be vigilant and avoid the military council’s dull ideology.
