The group has set a goal of 10 million kyats and has been using the signatures of leaders from the Yangon PDF Unit 1 Zone 1 and Zone 2 to lend credibility to their requests. The PDF and other resistance organizations have clarified that they do not engage in such activities and that any fundraising efforts would adhere strictly to the regulations set by the Ministry of Defense. The public is urged to be aware of these scams.
