U Lwin Ko Latt, Minister of Home Affairs, said that a policy has already been established to solve problems among People’s Defense Forces. “The President and the Prime Minister have directed that when there are problems between PDFs and Local PDFs, they must meet and negotiate until they are satisfied. I believe they will be able to find a suitable solution because the ministries are meeting and coordinating in this manner.”

The CNO/CNDF has announced that they will award 100 lakhs to those who join CDM with full arms. On February 13, the Chin National Organization (CNO) released as follows:

“The CNO/CNDF has previously awarded 50 lakhs to junta forces and police staff who joined the CDM with full arms. Now, CNO/CNDF will give an additional reward of 50 lakhs in addition to the previous bonus of 50 lakhs for their career.”

On December 26, 2022, Kaung Moe, a comrade from the Falam township-based KhaLaYa-268, surrendered to the CNO/CNDF with full arms. Because he no longer wanted to continue serving under the terrorist military council. The CNO/CNDF awarded the soldier a reward and transferred him to the liberated area.

“On February 8, junta troops and CDF-Mindat clashed near the city entrance gate in Ashae Pyin ward, Mindat, Chin State. Due to a fire opened by the army, a 10-year-old girl near the gate was seriously injured and killed,” AAPP stated.

Drugs are easily obtained due to the military council, and the Public Administration Group, Public Security Forces, and People’s Defense Forces have been collaborating on drug-education activities.

“On February 13, we attacked a terrorist army stationed at the Nyaung Pin Sauk immigration office, Monywa township. Three of the five junta members who came out to check traffic were killed in the attack, and two others fled into the office.”

The operation was led by the Monywa District People’s Defense Force, Chindwin Attack Force (Battalion 4), Special Commando Force (Monywa The Boys), in collaboration with the Special Investigation Force (Chindwin Attack Force), Monywa District Battalion 4 (Division – 4), Teachers People Defense Force PDF, and Spring Dove.

9. Palaw Regional Defense Force (PRDF) did not commit the killing of 7 people, including women and children

The killing of seven people in Palauk city, Palaw township, including women and children, was not committed by the Palaw Regional Defense Force (PRDF). On February 12, the Palaw Regional Defense Force released the news as follows:

“It is known that a total of seven family members, including women and children, were killed in Ahlelkone village, Kyauklonegyi group, around 8:00 p.m. on February 11th. We’d like to say that this was not an act committed by the PRDF and that such killings of women and children without reason will not be carried out in the future.”

The Palaw Regional Defense Force (PRDF) expressed its sadness over the incident and condemned the actions taken.
